Alaskan COVID19 Update
A message to our customers and the general public:
In these unprecedented times and with a rapidly changing social landscape I thought it timely to update you on the current position of Alaskan Windows Ltd with regards to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- As a business, we aim to remain open throughout the course of the pandemic but with several key changes in how we operate.
- As of Monday 23rd March 2020 our showroom will be closed to members of the public until further notice.
- As of Monday 23rd March 2020 we will no longer be undertaking appointments for on-site consultations in customer’s homes until further notice.
Please be assured the business will continue to remain open throughout this period and we have put in place measures that means our office and sales staff can continue to work remotely where they will be able to serve customers through technologies including:
- Virtual showroom tour
- Online quoting portal
- Self-survey guides and tools which can be downloaded via the links below
- Remote consultations
For more information on the various facilities still available to customers during this period please visit the website where you can find the above.
Customers with planned installations have been contacted and we are looking to suspend all future installations, as soon as practically possible, until further notice.
Where our teams will be attending any site enhanced safety protocols will be put in place including but not limited to: social distance guidelines to be followed; use of face masks where appropriate; fitting teams to bring their own refreshments and utensils.
At this difficult time the protection and wellbeing of our installation teams, customers and the general public is paramount. To this end and following the Government’s advice on social distancing we feel it entirely responsible not to be potentially adding to the risk and spread of the disease.
I hope you understand and appreciate our reasons for taking these decisions and we do sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused, however with the current national picture as it is, it is clearly the most socially responsible thing to do.
We hope you stay safe and well, thank you for your understanding at these difficult times.
Kind regards,
Alastair Young
Managing Director – Alaskan Windows.
